Dimitar Petrov /"Babugers" - new paintings collection/
These are some oil-painted pictures, mixed techs and computer posters. They are products of my last researches of mummer and sourvakian games. I'm very impressed by the magnificent costumes and masks which mummers have. The ring of their clatters and bells sounds far in time and space. I want to catch the melody through the tints. So different and great are these heathen "living totems", that I mentally get in the atmosphere of the holly action. I'll be happy if my paintings from the cycle "Babugers" recreate the power of this effect."
